Moving Through Grief

Last night a few bereaved parents and I met to honor our children by creating a banner to be carried at The Compassionate Friends National Conference Walk To Remember!  It was a small group by we were very effective and hopeful.  We discussed design, photos of our children were a must.  We came up with a plan.  Everyone who wanted to participate would be given a space to honor their child how they saw fit.  We will gather the last Tuesday of the month to work on this wonderful project while offering conversation and hope.
Last night over coffe and designing-we discussed politics, our children, the weather, vacations, signs from our children, guilt, step parents and their role, and many other aspects of life!  We are not only working on a banner, we are working towards our future, towards moving through grief.

If you would like to join us, our next meeting will be Tuesday, April 24th at 7pm in the Helen Plumb Memorial Building in Trumbull CT.  Please shoot an email to anne@thetonybrownfoundation.org so we know how many to expect.  Space on the banner is limited.  We would love to have you join us, no creative or sewing skills required.  We will have all the supplies and will be there to help you along the way!
