DVD Screening and Meeting

This month, Tuesday April 30th, we will meet at 6:45 pm and have a showing of a short (60 min) DVD “The 5 H’s-Hurt, Hope, Help, Honor and Healing by the Grief Toolbox at 7:30.  This video will inform, inspire and offer tools to help you as you navigate your grief journey.  The founders of The Grief Toolbox-Glen and Tanya Lord will be joining us for this very special evening. Sharing and discussion time will take place after the video.

A description of the DVD taken from The Grief Toolbox website-What are 5 common denominators in the lives of those who successfully move through their grief? Host Alan Pedersen calls these his 5 H’s (Hurt, Hope, Help, Honor, and Healing) and talks about how each one plays a vital role in the grief journey. Joined by a group of contributors who have experienced great loss in their lives, the 5 H’s offers tremendous insight and ideas to help those in grief.

We hope that through sharing, talking, and caring we can bring hope, healing and friendship to your journey!

We are not professionals, just a group of parents and siblings who know what ist is like to have lost a child, grandchild, or sibling.  These meetings are non denominational and there is no fee to join  We just ask that our group does not judge and allows everyone to grieve at their own pace, in their own way.  If you feel you would like to join us we meet the last Tuesday of the month at The Helen Plumb Memorial Building on 571 White Plains Road in Trumbull Ct.  Please feel free to stop by and see if you find some peace and hope within our group

This meeting is open to anyone suffering from any type of grief.imgres-2
